Nintendo Switch: Mario Tennis Aces + 1-2-Switch bundle out next month in the United States

The holiday period looks pretty promising for the Nintendo Switch this year, with Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Let’s Go, Eevee! in November and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in December. While nothing has been announced yet, it’s pretty much guaranteed that both games will get a bundle. But Nintendo isn’t going to wait for those two games before releasing a new bundle in the United States!

Today, the company announced that the console is getting a new bundle including both Mario Tennis Aces and 1-2- Switch, but no extras (Joy-Cons inside are the Neon Red and Neon Blue variants). Also, the two games come as Download Codes, not as physical copies.

This new bundle will cost $359.99, which means that you get one of the two games for free. However, there’s a catch: it will only be available at Walmart.

Here’s what the box looks like:

With this bundle, Nintendo is clearly aiming at players looking for a local multiplayer experience on Nintendo Switch (though Mario Tennis Aces can also be played online). It’s also great for people who want some games along with their console, instead of having to buy them separately. It shouldn’t have a big impact on sales right out of the gate.

By the way, you can find the complete list of Nintendo Switch models, bundles, and Limited Editions ever released worldwide on this page!
