We already knew that The Binding of Isaac+ was headed to the Nintendo Switch, but what we didn’t know is that it would also be available at launch:

By now you’ve hopefully heard that The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ is coming to Nintendo Switch in retail form. What does it mean?

It means that there is more than just The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on launch.

The game will cost $39.99, and will be released both on the Nintendo eShop and at retail. The first few thousands copies at retail will also include “something special”, though it’s not clear what that surprise is.

The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ on the Nintendo Switch includes the following:

  • The Binding of Isaac Rebirth
  • The binding of Isaac Afterbirth

Today, the developers of Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom posted the latest development blog post for the game. There’s nothing too exciting this time around, though they do show Jin’s (the protagonist) new face. They also confirm that the game would launch on the Nintendo Switch simultaneously with the other consoles.
