Nintendo: somes additional sales data for past Fiscal Year, million-sellers, best-sellers

For the Fiscal Year Ended March 2017, Nintendo has a total of 9 million-sellers, including the very first one on Nintendo Switch! That game is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which was also a million-seller on Wii U. On Nintendo 3DS, we have the usual suspects, and even New Super Mario Bros. 2!

  • Pokémon Sun and Moon (3DS): 15.44 million units worldwide (3 830 000 units in Japan, 11 610 000 units in the rest of the world)
  • Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS (3DS): 2.34 million units worldwide (1 080 000 units in Japan, 1 250 000 units in the rest of the world)
  • Mario Kart 7 (3DS): 1 970 000 units worldwide (120 000 units in Japan, 1 850 000 units in the rest of the world), 15.22 million units since launch;
  • Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire (3DS): 1.9 million units worldwide (180 000 units in Japan, 1 710 000 units in the rest of the world), 13 740 000 units since launch;
  • Pokémon X and Y (3DS): 1.41 million units worldwide (70 000 units in Japan, 1 340 000 units in the rest of the world), 16 110 000 units since launch;
  • Kirby Planet Robobot (3DS): 1.36 million units worldwide (590 000 units in Japan, 770 000 units in the rest of the world);
  • New Super Mario Bros. 2 (3DS): 1.03 million units worldwide (100 000 units in Japan, 920 000 units in the rest of the world), 11 270 000 units since launch;
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Wii U): 1.08 million units worldwide (120 000 units in Japan, 960 000 units in the rest of the world);
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch): 2.76 million units worldwide (390 000 units in Japan, 2 370 000 units in the rest of the world).

  • Nintendo Switch Software: 5.46 million units

  • Nintendo 3DS Software: 8.29 million units
  • Wii Software: 510 000 units
  • Nintendo DS Software: 40 000 units.
