Nintendo – Holidays line-up
As the holiday season is beginning to loom over the horizon, Nintendo and retailers are starting to get ready. Today, Nintendo of America made various announcements with a special controller, bundles, and even another Starter Pack.
Here’s what was announced today:
- September 28th – New Nintendo 2DS XL: purple + silver (new colour), with Mario Kart 7 pre-installed. Price: $149.99;
- September 28th – New Nintendo 2DS XL: black + turquoise, with Mario Kart 7 pre-installed;
- September 28th – New Nintendo 2DS XL: white + orange, with Mario Kart 7 pre-installed;
- September 28th – Starter Packs for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Splatoon 2 (re-issue), and Super Mario Odyssey (new). The pack consists of the game + a starter guide for the same price as standalone copies;
- December 7th – Super Smash Bros. Ultimate bundle, including the game, a steelbook, and the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. Price: $139.99;
- December 7th – Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. Price: $74.99. Also releasing in Europe on the same day.

Kirby Café
After a successful run a couple of years ago, the Kirby Café is back! This time, it will be held from September 27th to February 17th, in Tokyo. If you missed it the first time around, this is the perfect opportunity for you to check it out! And even if you did manage to go once, there will be something new for you with this second run: new dishes, new sweets, and even new drinks! And like last time, there will be exclusive goodies on sale at the shop located inside the café: those will be revealed at a later date.
