Nintendo Entertainment System: Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo have revealed the April line-up for Nintendo Entertainment System: Nintendo Switch Online. This month, 3 new games will be added to the service, on April 10th to be precise. This time around, all regions get the same amount of games, and the line-up is exactly the same (with one minor difference, as you can see for yourself below).

Here’s the 3 games releasing this month on Nintendo Entertainment System: Nintendo Switch Online in Europe and North America:

  • Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr Dream
  • Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels / Super Mario Bros. 2 (Nintendo Entertainment System, Europe and North America-only)
  • Star Soldier

And here’s the Japanese line-up:

  • Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr Dream
  • Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels / Super Mario Bros. 2 (Famicom Disk System, Japan-only)
  • Star Soldier

The only difference is that Japan get the original version of Super Mario Bros. 2 aka: Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels (originally released on Famicom Disk System). And of course, Nintendo will add one or more “SP” versions of games already available on the service, though as usual, those will only be revealed on launch day.

Here’s the trailers and some screenshots for the April line-up:

As usual, you can find the complete list of games currently available and coming soon to Nintendo Entertainment System: Nintendo Switch Online on this page!

BoxBoy! + BoxGirl!

Starting today, Download Cards for BoxBoy! + BoxGirl! are now available for purchase in stores in Japan. The game itself will not be released until later this month (on April 26th), and since digital pre-orders are not live yet, the Download Card cannot be used right away (however, they should start pretty soon, maybe this very week if Nintendo are releasing the card today).

The Download Card reveals that BoxBoy! + BoxGirl! will require at least 1GB of free space on your Nintendo Switch or microSD Card.

Here’s what the card looks like:
