Nintendo have shared their latest financial results, covering the Three Months Ended June 30th 2022 (April 1st 2022 to June 30th 2022). You will find all the details on these pages:

Some highlights:
- Nintendo Switch Sports has sold 4.84 million units as of June 30th 2022. Sales have remained stable, pointing towards long-term sales potential
- Mario Strikers: Battle League has sold 1.91 million units as of June 30th 2022
- Kirby and the Forgotten Land sold an additional 1.88 million units, bringing total sales to 4.53 million units. It is now the best-selling Kirby game of all times!
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sold an additional 1.48 million units, bringing total sales to 46.82 million units
There are only 4 million-sellers in Q1 2022-23, and it’s the four games listed.
- Nintendo Switch (Hardware): 3.43 million units sold (- 22.9% Year on Year)
- Nintendo Switch (Software): 41.41 million units sold (- 8.6% Year on Year)
- Digital sales: 88 billion Yen (+16% Year on Year), thanks to strong sales of digital version of physical games, increased Nintendo Switch Online sales, and stronger sales for DLC for both 1st and 3rd-party games. Digital sales accoutned for 53% of total Software sales during Q1
- Royalty revenues and Mobile business: 10.9 billion Yen (- 16.8% Year on Year)
- First-party games: Q1 2022-23 was the second strongest Q1 after 2020-2021 (with the recent release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons)
- The number of annual players on Nintendo Switch has reached 104 millions
