Nintendo Direct: new presentation announced for April 12th/13th, focus on Splatoon 2 / ARMS

It’s been more than 7 months since the last global Nintendo Direct presentation in September 2016 (with a couple of game-focused presentations since then, not to mention the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 in January), and many thought it was high time for a new one. And that’s exactly what Nintendo announced earlier!

The next Nintendo Direct presentation was announced earlier today, and it’s going to take place on Wednesday (North America, United Kingdom) / Thursday (Europe, Japan). Nintendo specifies it will focus primarily on Splatoon 2 and ARMS, with other announcements for the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo 3DS.

No doubt that Nintendo will announce the release for ARMS during the presentation, though it’s not guaranteed Splatoon 2 will also get it. As for the Nintendo 3DS, there’s a couple of games the company is yet to say anything about: Pikmin and Ever Oasis. Hopefully we will finally new details about both titles during this upcoming presentation!

Here’s when this new Nintendo Direct presentation will take place:

  • Europe: 12AM (April 13th)
  • UK: 11PM (April 12th)
  • North America (EST): 6PM (April 12th)
  • North America (PST): 3PM (April 12th)
  • Japan: 7AM (April 13th)
