Nintendo: Animal Crossing stickers now available on LINE

On Tuesday, Nintendo opened an official account on LINE (a popular instant-messaging application), in Japan. Many saw this as a sign that the company was going to start selling stickers: interactive emoticons that users can send to their friends when chatting. They’re extremely popular among LINE users, and many companies have released stickers based on their IPs (mangas, animes, games, etc.).

And it’s exactly what Nintendo did today: they released their first set of stickers on LINE. Unsurprisingly, the company picked up one of its most popular franchises (especially amont casual players): Animal Crossing! There’s a total of 24 stickers, which are available in Japan, but also in Europe and North America!

The set of 24 stickers costs:

  • 100 coins
  • 240 Yen
  • 1.99€
  • £1.49
  • $1.99

Here’s all the stickers from this (first?) Animal Crossing set:

Which characters/franchises from Nintendo would you like for the next set of stickers?
