New 3DS launching on Sept. 10th in South Korea; Mario Special Edition and cover plate

This morning, Nintendo of Korea sent a press release to announce that the New Nintendo 3DS (the basic model) would launch on September 10th in South Korea. To be more precise, Nintendo will launch a Mario Special Edition, which will cost 188 000 KRW (roughly €143 / £101 / $159). It includes:

– a White New Nintendo 3DS
– two Mario-themed cover plates (not released in Japan and Europe)
– Super Mario Bros. (NES, Virtual Console)

And on the same day, Nintendo will also release several cover plates, which cost 10,000 KRW each (roughly €7 / £5.4 / $8.4):

– No. 001
– No. 058
– No. 027
– No. 042

Unfortunately, we don’t know if/when Nintendo will release this bundle and/or cover plates in Europe and/or Japan.
