[N-Direct] Nintendo 2DS, new Happy Price Selection titles launching on Sept. 15 in Japan

Back in February, for the 20th Anniversary of the Pokémon series, Nintendo released some bundles including a Nintendo 2DS and “physical” copy of Pokémon Red Version / Green Version / Blue Version / Yellow Version: Special Pikachu Edition in Japan. It was the first time the Nintendo 2DS was released in the country.

But it wasn’t a proper launch for the Nintendo 2DS, since the bundles were pretty limited. In fact, there was only one shipment (about 100 000 units), and that’s it. But good news for players interested in that particular model: it will be properly launched on September 15th in Japan. This time around, it will not be a limited release!

The Nintendo 2DS will cost 10 504 Yen, and will be available in the following colours:

  • Lavender
  • Pink
  • Blue
  • Red x Black
  • Clear Black
