Monster Hunter Stories: Famitsu preview, debut date for the anime

This week, Monster Hunter Stories will be featured in Famitsu magazine. There will be an article with new details about the game (including the Battle System, Otomon, the Legend of Zelda collaboration, and more), but also play impressions.

Here’s the preview from Famitsu:

Also, it was announced via the official website that Monster Hunter Stories: RIDE ON!, the anime series based on the game, would debut on October 2nd (at 8.30AM JST). Since new anime series generally debut during the first week of October (for the Fall season), it was all but confirmed that Monster Hunter Stories: RIDE ON! would debut on October 2nd.

The anime series will air on Fuji TV, which is creating its first daytime anime timeslot in almost 10 years especially for it. This shows that the channel really has some high expectations for the very first Monster Hunter anime series. By the way, FUNimation picked up the anime, for those interested in watching it!

Talking of Monster Hunter Stories: RIDE ON!, Capcom is going to release a costume based on Nabiru sometime in October. That very costume will be available in a pre-sale at the Tokyo Game Show 2016, later this week. It costs 5 500 Yen (adult version) or 4 500 Yen (child version).

Here’s some pictures of the costume:
