Monster Hunter Stories: details and screens for the latest DLC (Zelda, more)

Update: for more details about the DLC for Monster Hunter Stories in Europe and North America, make sure to check out this post!

Today is Friday Saturday, which means it’s time to take a look at the latest batch of DLC for Monster Hunter Stories! And this time around, there’s some really good content… such as the second part of the Legend of Zelda collaboration!

Just like last time, the contents from that collaboration are distributed via the hotspots in 7-Eleven stores across Japan (until January 15th). Here’s what they include:

  • special Tournament: The Legend of Zelda – Triforce Cup (Rank: Gold). If you manage to win, you will get a special Epona egg, allowing you to get Epona as Otomon.
  • special Sub-Quest: The Legend of Zelda – Hero’s Soul (Rank: ★ 5). If you complete it, you will get the Majora’s Mask, which is for Nabirou.
  • Stamp set (for multiplayer chat)

But that’s not all! There’s also one additional Sub-Quest to download (not part of the Legend of Zelda collaboration). It features Monoblos, and is Rank ★ 7.

Also, Capcom announced a promotional campaign in collaboration with various games stores. Players who go there can download useful items to be used in-game, but also QR codes (one for each chain) to unlock special Otomon parties.

Finally, it was recently announced that the soundtrack for Monster Hunter Stories: RIDE ON (the anime series), composed by Masaru Yokoyama, would be released on February 22nd in Japan.
