Monster Hunter: MH Stories 2 to get a Spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (+ opening video), making of video for Monster Hunter Rise (soundtrack)

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate features a treasure trove of Spirits from so many different games and series, and new ones are added on a regular basis (such as today, with the latest set of DLC). And next week, a brand new Spirit will be added to celebrate the release of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin!

That Spirit is called Razewing Ratha, and to get it, you will need to have a save data file for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin on your Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, it’s not clear if/when this Spirit will be available to all players.

Here’s what the new Spirit looks like:

And in case you missed it, here’s the full opening video for the game:

Don’t forget that demo version is now available for download worldwide. You can even transfer your progress to the full version of the game!

Also, Capcom have shared a making of video for Monster Hunter Rise, and more specifically its soundtrack. If you want to see how the epic music of the game was created, you might want to check it out!

Speaking of soundtrack, the extra tracks introduced in the Ver. 3.0.0 update are now available via the usual digital music platforms and streaming services (including Spotify!).

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin (Switch) comes out on July 9th worldwide.
