Mega Man Legacy Collection: video interview, possible retail version

Mega Man Legacy Collection

On June 8th, Capcom announced a “brand new” Mega Man game… a collection of the first 6 Mega Man titles, called Mega Man Collection. On top of the various “modern enhancements”, it will also include some additions such as online leaderboards, challenges, replays, a database, a museum, and more.

Right now, the game is a Nintendo eShop-exclusive, but it looks like a retail release might be in the works. Yesterday, Amazon.com started listing a retail version for Mega Man Legacy Collection on all platforms, including the Nintendo 3DS. Of course, nothing’s confirmed just now, as online retailers being in the habit of putting up some rather curious listings, but the possibility is definitely there (especially after the retail release of DuckTales Remastered).

While we wait for a possible confirmation (or denial), here’s an video interview with Rey Jimenez (Producer of the collection):

Mega Man Legacy Collection (3DS eShop) comes out this Winter in Europe and North America.
