Master Detective Archives: Rain Code – More details (The Nail Man Killings, new characters) and video presentation

Spike-Chunsoft has shared the latest round of details for Master Detective Archives: Rain Code. This time, we get a look at two new characters:

• Kurumi Wendy (voiced by Megumi Toda in Japanese, and Lisa Reimold in English)

A girl living in Kanai Ward who has a fascination with detectives. She’s quick to get along with anyone she meets due to her excellent communication skills. She is a student at Aetheria Academy and is a member of the theater club.

• Masked Man (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki in Japanese, and Brandon Winckler in English)

A mysterious masked man who lives on the top floor of Kanai Tower. His tendency to speak in riddles makes it difficult to ascertain his true nature, but he seems to have ulterior motives.

Finally, Spike-Chunsoft has shared a subbed version of Episode 1 of the “The (Almost-Kinda) Weekly RAIN CODE Update/Online Show” (a series of regular livestreams created in collaboration with Famitsu and Dengeki in Japan, featuring Kazutaka Kodaka (scenario writer) and Shohei Sakakibara (producer)). It features some gameplay footage and additional details about the game, so make sure to check it out!
