Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam – Boxart, amiibo support revealed and detailed

Earlier today, it was found out via Nintendo’s upcoming releases planning that Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam would come out on December 3rd in Japan. But it turns out the amiibo website was also updated, and it reveals that Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam is indeed compatible with amiibo. If you use a compatible figure, you will get a special card to use during battle (in case you’re having trouble beating a boss for example).

Here’s the list of compatible amiibo:

  • Mario (Super Smash Bros. and Super Mario series)
  • Peach (Super Smash Bros. and Super Mario series)
  • Yoshi (Super Smash Bros. and Super Mario series)
  • Luigi (Super Smash Bros. and Super Mario series)
  • Bowser (Super Smash Bros. and Super Mario series)
  • Dr. Mario (Super Smash Bros. series)
  • Toad (Super Smash Bros. series)
  • Yarn Yoshi (Green, Blue, Pink, Mega)
  • Mario (Super Mario Bros. 30th Anniversary, Classic and Modern Colours)
