Maintenance for Wii U / 3DS scheduled for tonight

Earlier today, some online services for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games were down for some rather lengthy maintenance (10 hours in total). It looks like Nintendo wasn’t quite done, as another similar maintenance was announced for tonight, at the same time. As usual, Nintendo didn’t communicate about it, so we don’t know the reason behind it.
Here’s the list of services impacted during the first period:
- Wii U: online play, leaderboards (some online services)
- Nintendo 3DS: online play, leaderboards (some online services)
The maintenance will take place on:
– Europe: December 14th (10PM) to December 15th (12PM)
– UK: December 14th (9PM) to December 15th (12PM)
– North America (EDT): December 14th (4PM) to December 15th (6AM)
– North America (PDT): December 14th (1PM) to December 15th (3AM)
– Japan: December 15th (6AM to 8PM)
