Langrisser Re:Incarnation Tensei: two new characters revealed

Langrisser Re:Incarnation Tensei is a Strategy-RPG on Nintendo 3DS, and a revival of the Langrisser series. Earlier this week, Masaya Games and Extreme announced that it would come out in July in Japan, with a limited edition. And today, the developers revealed two new characters for the game, called Maya and Ansel.

– Maya (voiced by Yumi Uchiyama): she’s a maid working for the Rovina family, and she takes care of Ares. She got quite the lordly demeanor, but she’s also quite knownledgeable and insightful when it comes to world affairs (which is very useful when it comes to educating Ares). What’s more, she knows quite a lot about magic and the military, though no one knows where she came across such knowledge. Her past is completely shrouded in mystery.

– Ansel (voiced by Junji Majima): he’s the son of a carpenter from a former Bright territory (with strong ties to the imperial army). Before the war started, he used to live a rather easygoing life, but then, he joined a band of vigilantes. He’s quite knowledgeable when it comes to military tactics (he memorised them just fine), but he doesn’t quite get their deepest meaning and nuances. He absolutely hates to make mistakes, though he can be quite sloppy around women.
