Kunio-kun 30th Anniversary: River City Ransom SP announced for the 3DS

This year, the Kunio-kun series will celebrate its 30th Anniversary in Japan. The first game to be released was Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun (known as Renegade outside Japan), in 1986 on Arcade. Arc System Works (who recently acquired the rights for the series) is planning to celebrate this anniversary with several games, and the first one was announced today.

The game will be called Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari SP (or River City Ransom SP). We don’t have any details about the game just yet, other than it will feature new events and actions.

We will get more details from Famitsu magazine, later this this week. In the mean time, here’s the preview:
