Update: the Final Vote for the Kirby Copy Ability Global Poll, for Kirby: Battle Royale, is now live. You have until December 2nd to vote:
Kirby: Battle Royale (the multiplayer Kirby game for the Nintendo 3DS announced back in April) was revealed during the Nintendo Direct in September. To go with the announcement, and as part of the Kirby 25th Anniversary celebrations, Nintendo launched the Kirby Copy Ability Global Poll.
This poll was held from September 14th to October 1st, and for fans, it was the perfect opportunit to determine once and for all which Kirby Copy Ability is the best. The winning one would not only get a wallpaper, it would also be added to Kirby: Battle Royale via an upcoming Software update.
And last week, Nintendo revealed the results of that Global Poll. The winner is… the Mirror Copy Ability! It will be added to Kirby: Battle Royale via a free Software update, releasing in mid-December. The results of the poll can be found below!
Here’s some screenshots of the Mirror Copy Ability in Kirby: Battle Royale:
And here’s what the wallpaper looks like (you can download it from this page):
Once the Mirror Copy Ability is in Kirby: Battle Royale, there will be 14 of them in the game. And since the Kirby Copy Ability Global Poll was pretty successful, Nintendo and HAL Laboratory have decided to hold a second vote and final vote.
It will take place from November 15th (this Wednesday) to an unspecified date, and the results will be announced sometime in January. The winning Copy Ability will also be added to Kirby: Battle Royale, and will be the 15 Copy Ability in the game.
Finally, here’s the “full” results of the first vote, including a regional breakdown of the votes!
