Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu Heroes: demo and pre-load now live, trailer, details (inc. file size)

With about two weeks left until release, Konami released a demo version for Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu Heroes (on Nintendo 3DS), while the game itself can now be pre-purchased and downloaded right now. And to top it off, we have an overview trailer for the game!

To begin, here’s some “technical” details about the game:

  • Genre: Baseball / Training
  • Players: 1 (Single Player), up to 2 (Local Multiplayer only, no online)
  • Multiplayer: VS
  • StreetPass: Yes
  • Save data files: 1
  • File size: 5 620 blocks / 702MB

If you have a Japanese Nintendo 3DS, you can now pre-load the game from the Nintendo eShop or Nintendo’s website. That way, you will be able to start playing right away on December 15th (12AM JST)!

If you want to try out the game, you can now download a demo for it from the Nintendo eShop of the Nintendo 3DS (you can scan the QR code at the end of the trailer above, if you want).

In this demo, you can play a match against the computer, but you can also against another player. However, there’s a restriction for multiplayer: there can only be 2 innings max., and there’s a 5mn time limit. If it’s your first time playing, you can check out the controls on the bottom screen of your Nintendo 3DS.

Finally, Nintendo provides additional details about the game itself. Besides the Hero Mode, there’s the regular VS mode, where you can play against the AI or your friends. You can create your very own team, using characters unlocked in Hero Mode.
