Japan: digital estimates for January 2017 (Famitsu)
In its latest issue, Famitsu magazine provides us their usual digital sales estimates for the Japanese market in January 2017 (the period going from December 26th, 2016 to January 29th, 2017 to be more precise). To the surprise of no one, January was a pretty slow month for Nintendo on the digital front… just like at retail, in fact.
There may be quite a lot of Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games in the Top 10, their digital sales were pretty poor, with none of them selling at least 10 000 units. In fact, only one managed to sell more than 5 000 units (Pokémon Sun and Moon).
