Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX: some details and screenshots

Earlier this week, SEGA revealed some details and screenshots for Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX (even though there really isn’t anything really new in there, if you’ve read our previous posts about the game!).

They detailed some of the features of the game, starting with the songs: they are rendered in “Miku’s 3-D Nendoroid style”, allowing players to customise the characters freely. In fact, you can even swap the singer during certain songs: there’s 48 of them in the game, but thanks to this feature, you can actually have up to 79 songs in total… definitely living up to the “Deluxe” part of the title!

But that’s not all: the game also includes various customisation options, allowing players to modify the size, color, and even behavior of the rhythm icons. That way, if you’re a hardcore rhythm-game player, you will be able to make everything confortable for you in order to get the best score possible. No more ranting about certain elements of the game when you fail a song at the highest difficulty available!

Next, we have the Theatre Mode, which allows players to view the PV of the various songs (you can even skip directly to the favorite part of a particular song if you want). Players can send “comments”, that will be displayed on the screen just like a livestream on NicoNico: those comments will be shared with other players via StreetPass. What’s more, there’s a “Jam Song” mode, allowing friends to get together and interact with the songs.

Here’s the screenshots for Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX:
