Girl’s Mode 3: Nintendo working on a patch to fix the issue with mannequins

Girl’s Mode 3: KiraKira Code is the third entry in the Style Savvy / Nintendo Presents: Style Boutique series, and it came out yesterday in Japan. Unfortunately, it looks like the developers missed a bug during QA, but it’s nowhere near as annoying or problematic as the Mewtwo glitch in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

The glitch involves the showrooms you get from Miki or by meeting other players via StreetPass. You can actually purchase the clothes on display there, but due to the glitch, you do not purchase the clothes themselves, but the actual hanger / mannequin. Apparently, this causes the hanger / mannequin and its name to not display correctly.

The developers are not only aware of the glitch, but they’re already working on a patch: it will be released as soon as possible. Since this is a rather “mild” bug, it doesn’t cause any serious problems (like save data corruption), which means that players can keep on playing normally even if they encountered it.

Unfortunately, Nintendo hasn’t made any announcement regarding the release of Girl’s Mode 3: KiraKira Code in Europe and North America.
