Just like many other games before it, Fire Emblem: Three Houses is going to get various details, pictures, and videos revealed via its official Twitter account in Japan (in that case, the official Fire Emblem one). That’s why we once again created a post specifically to round up all the details, pictures, and videos shared on that account, so that you can find it all in one place for convenience purposes.
As always, we will keep updating this post as soon as new details, pictures, and videos for Fire Emblem: Three Houses are shared, and up until it doesn’t make sense to keep it updated (until launch, basically).
First, here’s a YouTube playlist that we will keep updating with new videos, in order to avoid having too many YouTube embeds on this page. Only the latest videos will be listed below.
The latest Twitter updates introduce Hanneman (voiced by Kenji Hamada). He’s a teacher at the Officer’s Academy, who also happens to be a scholar studying the mysterious crests said to have been given by the Goddess herself. He’s generally pretty calm and composed, but he does tend to get carried away anytime the crests are involved. He’s particularly intrigued by the protagonist’s mysterious emblem, and he has a hard time hiding his curiousity.
For some reason, he does not seem to get on well with Manuela, another teacher at the Officer’s Academy.
The crests are mysterious entities that very few people on the Fodlan continent possess. Their power is said to come from the Goddess herself, and the Heroes who took part in the Heroes War a long time ago. They have been passed down from generation to generation among descendants of those Heroes, and they have become a symbol of power. However, not all children from noble families end up with a crest at birth: in fact, many of them do not.
In general, only nobles get to possess a crest. However, the protagonist (who decides to assist Hanneman in his research) does end up getting a mysterious emblem of their own, but it’s not clear why.
Intelligent Systems shared two videos today: the usual short video clip introducing Hanneman (showing him talking with the protagonist, his colleague at the Officer’s Academy), and a longer video showing him talking about the crests (again, with the protagonist).
Here’s a video with both merged into a single one:
The latest Twitter updates introduce Hilda, voiced by Yuuki Kuwahara. She’s a member of the Golden Deer house, and lone daughter of the Duke of Goneryl. Perhaps due to her being spoiled by her father and brother, she often tends to be quite lazy, and she’s good at getting others to spoil her. She’s pretty much what you would expect the typical “Noble Lady” to be like. She’s pretty fond of anything fashionable and colourful.

The latest Twitter updates introduce Felix, voiced by Ryuuichi Hase. He’s the heir of a Duke of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, and Dimitri’s childhood friend (that he nicknamed “Boar”). He’s a rather sarcastic individual, and a lone wolf. He always makes sure to hone his skills with the sword, and when finds a strong opponent, he will start by getting in touch with them.
Here’s a short video clip showing Felix talking to the protagonist: check out the YouTube playlist above!
The latest Twitter updates introduce Dorothea, voiced by Juri Nagatsuma. She’s a member of the Black Eagles, and just like Manuela, she used to be a popular Diva before being admitted to the Officer’s Academy. In fact, she did sing at the same Mittel Frank opera company as Manuela, who is effectively her senior.
She’s the only member of the Black Eagles who was born a commonner, which is why she doesn’t feel completely at ease there, but despite that, she treats everyone equally, as if they were friends of the same age.
Here’s a video of Dorothea talking to the protagonist, while unaware that they’re actually a teacher at the Officer’s Academy: check out the YouTube playlist above!
The latest Twitter updates introduce Manuela (Japanese name, English name TBC), voiced by Sachiko Kojima. She’s a former diva, who used to be the star of the Mittel Frank opera company, back in the imperial capital. Believe it or not, she’s now a teacher at the Officer’s Academy, as well as a physician… that’s quite the career change!
She’s often seen on the academy grounds lamenting not being able to find her significant other. She’s pretty welcoming towards the protagonist when they start teaching at the Officer’s Academy.
Here’s a video clip showing Manuela warmly welcoming the protagonist: check out the YouTube playlist above!
The latest Twitter updates introduce Lorentz (Japanese name, English name TBC), voiced by Hiroshi Watanabe. He’s the heir of the Gröstal family (exact spelling TBC), and a rather prideful individual who is well aware of the responsibility he has to bear as noble. He’s tried courting several women at the Officer’s Academy, but he does not seem to have been successful so far.
Here’s a video showing Lorentz “thanking” the protagonist for saving Claude (and telling them to mind their own business): check out the YouTube playlist above!
The latest Twitter updates introduce Dodou (Japanese name, English name TBC) (voiced by Hidenori Takahashi), a member of the Blue Lions. He’s a commoner from the Dascar region (located to the north-west of the Kingdom of Faerghus), who serves Dimitri. He’s deeply indebted to him, which is why he has sworn to protect him at all costs. Since he’s the strong and silent type, he’s frequently misunderstood, but don’t be fooled by his appearance: he’s actually rather gentle and nice young man.
Here’s a video of Dodou thanking the protagonist for saving Dimitri: check out the YouTube playlist above!
The latest Twitter updates introduce Hubert (Japanese name, English name TBC) (voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi), a member of the Black Eagles house. He belongs to the Vestora family, and has served Edelgard since he was but a child. He will go to great lengths to get rid of anything (or anyone) that might get in the way of the future Empress. According to Edelgard herself, Hubert is a cold but rather honest person.
Here’s a video of Hubert talking to the protagonist, thanking them for saving Edelgard: check out the YouTube playlist above!
The latest Twitter updates introduce Rhea (voiced by Kikuko Inoue), who is at the head of the Holy Church of Seiros, and has been since the time Jeralt belonged to the Knights of Seiros. She has a high opinion of the protagonist, which is why she invites them to come teach at the Officer’s Academy. She treats people in the same calm manner as a kind mother, but as the leader of the Church of Seiros, she’s also known for being strict when passing judgement.
Here’s a video showing Rhea talking to the protagonist: check out the YouTube playlist above!
The latest Twitter updates introduce Jeralt (voiced by Akio Ootsuka), who is none other than the protagonist’s father. He’s a veteran Knight, who used to serve as Head Knight for the Church of Seiros, and is regarded as the strongest Knight of all times. He left his position to become a mercenary, and go on a journey. His wife has already passed away.
He ends up joining the Knights of Seiros once again after the events at the beginning of the game, when the protagonist ends up saving students from the Officer’s Academy.
Here’s a video clip showing Jeralt talking to the protagonist: check out the YouTube plkaylist above!
The latest Twitter updates introduce Claude (voiced by Toshiyuki Toyonaga). He’s a member of the Riegan family (leaders of the Leicester Alliance, an alliance of nobles), and leader of the Golden Deer house at the Officer’s Academy. He may seem rather easygoing at first glance, but he sometimes shows a side that tells you that you really cannot let your guard down around him

The latest Twitter updates introduce Dimitri (voiced by Kaito Ishikawa). He’s the leader of the Blue Lions, Prince of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus and future King. He’s said to be quite the honest fellow, and the very embodiment of chivalry. However, you can sometimes see a faint bit of darkness hidden behind his smiles.
Here’s a video showcasing Dimitri talking to the protagonist soon after their arrival at the Officer’s Academy: check out the YouTube playlist above!
The latest Twitter updates introduce Edelgard (voiced by Ai Kakuma), the leader of the Black Eagles house. She’s from the Adrestian Empire, and its future Empress. She may appear somewhat cold and prideful, acting with diginity. She’s always maintaining her composure, calmy assessing the situation and looking at other people before acting.

The second Twitter updates introduce Sothis (voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa). A mysterious girl who appears in the protagonist’s dream. After saving the protagonist using her powers to rewind time, she stays in contact with them and the two can actually communicate as if she was in their head. No one but the protagonist can see her. She has lost her memories, and despite looking like a young girl, she actually speaks like an old woman.
Here’s a scene showing Sothis talking to the protagonist: check out the YouTube playlist above!
The first Twitter updates for the game introduces the protagonist, who is voiced by Shizuka Itou (female) and Yuusuke Kobayashi (male). They used to be in a Mercenary band led by Jeralt, but one day, they were scouted by the Garreg Mach Monastery after saving some students from bandits.
Here’s the cutscene where they can be seen saving the students: see playlist above!
The two protagonists do have an official name (though you’re free to go with whatever you want in the actual game): Beret / Byleth (female) and Beres / ??? (male). Those are the names that will be used in official communications about the game (announcements, official website, etc.). Also, you can choose their gender, though it doesn’t look like you can change their appearance further.
By the way, the official Twitter account also revealed what this game’s version of Anna looks like:
Fire Emblem: Three Houses (Switch) comes out on July 26th worldwide.
