Fire Emblem Heroes: issues with Aether Raids, bonus Orbs to be distributed next week

Last week, a brand new feature was added to Fire Emblem Heroes: Aether Raids (check out this post and the in-game notification for more details about i), and unfortunately, it did come with a few issues. Today, the developers sent a notification to share more details about the issue impacting the new game mode.

Here’s the 3 main issues with Aether Raids in Fire Emblem Heroes:

  • There were factors we did not consider for calculating the amount of Aether consumed in battle, which makes it possible to achieve a higher lift than if you went undefeated without losing any units.
  • Users are sometimes unable to replay defensive battles in their entirety.
  • There was a mistake in the description for the Healing Tower (O) structure.

About aether completion: right now, it’s calculated as Aether Consumed = 10 + Current Lift / 100 (rounded down), which means players who played at the beginning of the season were able to earn 80 Lift at the start. Following the update, it will be calculated as Aether Consumed = 9 + Current Lift / 100 (rounded up). With this new formula, the amount of Aether consumed in the next battle is 10 regardless of whether your Lift is 80 or 100.

Also, the Rank Rewards have been adjusted: check out the Events and Content Updates page for more details.

About Defensive-battle replays: the issue mentioned above occurs when two attacking Heroes are supporting each other.

About the Healing Tower (O) description, it read as “3 columns x5 rows” instead of “3 rows x5 columns”.

The good news is that not only the developers are already aware of those issues (this notification wouldn’t exist if that wasn’t the case), but they also promise that they will be fixed “soon” (via a new Software update, check out the link for more details on the issues fixed).

As compensation for those issues, all players (including those who did not play Aether Raids (yet)) will get the following as Special Log-in Bonus on November 20th: Orb x10.

As usual, keep an eye on the Events and Content Updates and Characters pages to keep up to date with all that’s happening in Fire Emblem Heroes!
