Fire Emblem Heroes: more details about Arena Assault

Today, a new mode for the Arena in Fire Emblem Heroes went live: Arena Assault. Battles work just like the regular Arena, but with one major difference: you have to go through 7 of them! It’s a mode aimed at advanced players, and not just because you have to take part in several battles in a row.

Here’s how it all works. Once you’ve defeated an enemy, the next one appears immediately… no down time! You have to survive all 7 battles, and try to get the highest score possible. The score is based on the strength of the enemies you battle: the stronger the enemies, the higher your score… and the risk of your team getting wiped out.

What’s more, you need to think carefully about which Heroes to first send into battle, as the strength of enemies throughout all 7 rounds is based on the strength of enemies faced in the very first round.

Here’s some of the changes compared to the regular Arena:

  • you do not need Dueling Crest to play this mode (but you only get EXP and SP the first time around, each day);
  • one Hero cannot join several teams, and once a Hero has fought once, they cannot go to battle again.

The Arena Assault also features special items, that you can bring with you to battle: you need to choose 3 of them, as that’s how many you’re allowed to take. Think carefully about which ones to pick! Naturally, you also need to think carefully about when to use each item.

Also, if you fight against level 35+ opponents, there’s a chance you can get special items:

  • 3 wins: 1 item
  • 5 wins: 2 items
  • 7 wins: 3 items

Here’s the various types of items found in this mode:

Just like the regular Arena, Arena Assault seasons last 1 week, and you score is based on the highest one recorded during that week. The Arena Assault is closed for 8h just before the usual update time on Tuesday.

Finally, here’s the list of rewards:
