Fire Emblem Engage – Emblem Introduction: Chrom & Robin (Emblem of Bonds) [DLC]

Fire Emblem Engage features various characters from past Fire Emblem games, who are called Emblems. They appear in the form of Emblem Rings (Bracelets for DLC characters) that Units can equip in order to get a stats boost, but also gain access to special skills and abilities. And in this post, we’re going to take a look at Chrom & Robin, who are known as the Emblem of Bonds! They’re included in Wave 3 of the Expansion Pass, releasing on March 7th (North America) / March 8th (Europe and Japan).

Here’s a video showcasing this Emblem in action:

The video above shows part of a scene where Chrom and Robin are seen talking with Alear. It appears the two of them share a strong bond.

Chrom (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita in Japanese) and Robin (voiced by Yoshimasa Hosoya in Japanese) reside in the same Emblem Bracelet. With Chrom’s skills with the sword and Robin’s magic and strategies, you will be able to make short work of enemies.

Their weapon, skills, and abilities are as follows:

  • Sync Skill: Surprise Attack (official English name TBC!). Prevents enemy units from launching a counterattack when your unit is attacking from terrain that boosts evasion (such as thickets).
  • Engage Weapon (Robin): Levin Sword. A magic sword that can hit distant enemies with thunder magic.
  • Engage Skill: Hanshin (official English name TBC!). Robin takes part in a Chain Attack when unit initiates combat.
  • Engage Attack: Giga Levin Sword (official English name TBC!). Unit attacks using a sword imbued with magical power.

Fire Emblem Engage is now available worldwide.
