[Europe] Xenoblade Chronicles X: Data Packs now available for download, special offer

Xenoblade Chronicles XXenoblade Chronicles X comes out this Friday in Europe (and North America), and players who are planning to get the disc version can now download the Data Packs. As mentioned previously, those are used to greatly reduced loading times when using the disc version, and are completely free and optional.

You can download any of the Data Packs listed below, but the first one is the most important of the lot. It is recommended to download them all, in order to get the best performances, but if you don’t have enough space, the first one is the one you should get.

– Basic High-Speed Data Loading Pack (Impact: High) [2011Mo]
– Enemy High-Speed Data Loading Pack (Impact: Medium) [2937,5Mo]
– Player High-Speed Data Loading Pack (Impact: Medium) [3867,1Mo]
– Skell High-Speed Data Loading Pack (Impact: Medium) [1675,1Mo]

Reminder: if you’re planning to get the digital version of Xenoblade Chronicles, you do NOT need to download those Data Packs.

Also, if you’re planning to get Xenoblade Chronicles X from the Nintendo eShop, but don’t already own Xenoblade Chronicles X, you can get it for free today. Basically, Nintendo has a special offer at launch for Xenoblade Chronicles X: if you buy it from the Nintendo eShop, you get 10€ / £9 if you already own Xenoblade Chronicles X on the same Wii U (the digital version, obviously).

And today, Xenoblade Chronicles happens to be on sale on the Nintendo eShop. The digital version of the game only costs 9.99€/£8.99: if you get it before the end of the sale, you will also get 10€ / £9 off Xenoblade Chronicles X from the Nintendo eShop. In other words, you can get Xenoblade Chronicles for “free”, and save 0.01€/£ at the same time!

This very special offer is only possible if you get Xenoblade Chronicles from the Nintendo eShop today, before the end of the Cyber Deals!
