Etrian Odyssey X: character illustrations from Etrian Odyssey I to V as free DLC

Yesterday, during a livestream dedicated to the game, Atlus announced that Etrian Odyssey X will get tons of DLC at launch. Players will be able to download several DLC packs, containing character illustrations from all the mainline Etrian Odyssey games (I, II, III, IV, and V), but also various promo illustrations. The DLC Packs will be free for a month, then will cost 100 Yen.

Players will be able to change the illustrations for their characters at any time at the Adventurers’ Guild, but Atlus specifies that those illustrations from past games are not compatible with the Another Colour feature (that allows you to further customise your characters by changing the colour of various body parts).

Here’s the trailer for the character illustrations DLC:

And here’s the contents of each pack (that will stop being free from September 2nd onwards):

  • Pack 1: Etrian Odyssey I and Etrian Odyssey II. Illustrations for all the classes that are not already in the game (4 variants for each class) + 18 promo illustrations (72 illustrations in total)
  • Pack 2: Etrian Odyssey III. Illustrations for all the classes that are not already in the game (8 variants for each class) + 15 promo illustrations (71 illustrations in total)
  • Pack 3: Etian Odyssey IV. Illustrations for all the classes that are not already in the game (8 variants for each class) + 21 promo illustrations (69 illustrations in total)
  • Pack 4: Etrian Odyssey V. Illustrations for all the classes that are not already in the game (8 variants) + 8 illustrations for the various races + 5 promo illustrations + 12 DLC illustrations (89 illustrations in total)
  • Pack 5: 10th Anniversary Adventurer. Illustrations from the cover of the Etrian Odyssey 10th Anniversary Character Art Collection (6 illustrations).
