Etrian Odyssey V: demo and pre-loading available, download size, screens

As announced a few days ago, the demo version of Etrian Odyssey V is now available for download from the Nintendo eShop in Japan. As usual, it gives access to the beginning of the game, and lets players transfer their progress and characters (including all the customisation) to the full version of the game.

But that’s not all: the game is also available for pre-loading from the Nintendo eShop or Nintendo’s website. Players can now buy and download the game right away, in order to be able to start playing at 12AM JST on August 4th.

Here’s some “technical” details about the game, including the download size:

  • Download size: 4 426 blocks / 553.25MB
  • Price: 6 998 Yen (retail / digital)
  • Genre: 3D Dungeon RPG
  • Players: 1
  • Save data files: 9
  • StreetPass: Yes

Here’s some screenshots from the official gamepage:

If you want more screenshots, you’re in lucky: yesterday, 4Gamer.net posted their preview of the game. As usual, it comes with some brand new screenshots… a lot of them (over 80).

Here’s the new screenshots:

If that’s still not enough for you, here’s some from Nintendo’s Topics blog/website:
