Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth

Yesterday, Atlus shared the latest trailer for Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth, which is about a pretty crucial class: Botanists.

When you venture inside the Yggdrasil Tree, you obviously need to be able to defend yourself. But there’s one thing katanas and powerful magic can’t do… heal you! If you don’t bring a healer with you, you’re going to run in trouble pretty soon, and that’s where the Botanists kicks in. Their job? Making sure everyone stays healthy and happy… ok, ok, just healthy.

Using medical arts, Botanists can use their vast knowledge of herbs and plant life to not only heal party members, but also invigorate them. When comes the time to specialise in specific field, you can choose between:

• The Merciful Healer: expand skills in the medical field
• The Graceful Poisoner: make the Herbalist more versatile by focusing on offense, with devastating status ailments (paralyse, blind, pertify, and more)

Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2

Today, Atlus shared a soundtrack sample for Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2, which is out next week in Japan. The track shared in called “Densetsu no Makuake” (lit. Beginning of the Legend), and was composed and arranged by the one and only Yuzo Koshiro!
