Worse Than Death

Benjamin Rivers has announced that Worse Than Death will be released on October 8th in Europe and North America. It will cost $7.99 during launch week, then $9.99.

Here’s some more details:

In this follow-up to the popular indie horror game Home, players control Holly as she returns to her home town for a reason that would scare anyone — her high school reunion! It doesn’t take long for the weekend to go off the rails, and soon Holly must run from unseen horrors, hide in the shadows, and solve increasingly tricky puzzles to stay alive.

Rabi-Ribi

Mediascape have announced that they are bringing Rabi-Ribi to the Nintendo Switch on October 17th worldwide, with Circle Ent. taking up publishing duties outside Japan. The game is now available for pre-purchase on the Nintendo eShop for 2 430 Yen (regular price from October 23rd: 2 700 Yen). It requires 691MB of free space, and the Japanese version does offer an English language option.

Marisa to Alice no Trap Tower

Mediascape have announced another game for the Nintendo Switch: Desunoya’s Marisa to Alice no Trap Tower. It will be released on October 4th in Japan, and is now available for pre-purchase for 1 528 Yen. It requires 1.2GB of free space, and unfortunately, it does not offer an English language option.

Jack Quest: The Tale of the Sword

Rainy Frog have announced that they will release Jack Quest: The Tale of the Sword in Japan on October 3rd. The game will cost 999 Yen in that region, and it will offer an English language option.

Old School RPG Bundle

Plug In Digital have announced the Old School RPG Bundle for the Nintendo Switch. It comes out on October 9th, and includes the following games in a single package sold $29.99:

  • Knights of Pen & Paper
  • Knights of Pen & Paper II
  • Chroma Squad

The bundle is now available for pre-purchase on the Nintendo eShop, with a 10% off discount. If you own any of the games included in the bundle, you get 25% off instead. The games are playable in English, French, German, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
