Chicken Wiggle

Yesterday, Jools Watsham announced that he was gauging interest for a possible port of Chicken Wiggle for the Nintendo Switch called Chicken Wiggle: Re-Hatched. It would have a level editor and online sharing (just like the Nintendo 3DS version, with levels created on 3DS playable on Nintendo Switch), but also new HD artwork (+ a retro option for players who prefer the original sprites).

If there’s enough interest, a Kickstarter campaign will be launched to fund such a port. The campaign would have a reasonable funding goal: ~5 digits.

Mercenaries Saga Chronicles

Today, Rideon Japan announced that Mercenaries Saga Chronicles would be released on January 18th in Japan, where it will cost 1 500 Yen. This compilation includes Mercenaries Saga 2 and Mercenaries Saga 3 (with various improvements and adjustments), but also a remake of the very first Mercenaries Saga.

Mercenaries Saga Chronicles (Switch – eShop) comes out on January 18th in Japan, and later this year in Europe and North America. The Upcoming Games page has been updated!

Picontier

Picontier is the latest game from the creators of Kamiko, and it’s coming to the Nintendo Switch. Yesterday, they shared an update on its development, and revealed that the writing of the scenarios for the main quest are now 80% complete. It looks like development is progressing pretty well!
