Nintendo Switch sales in Italy
Today, Nintendo sent a press release to announce that the Nintendo Switch was the fastest-selling Nintendo console in Italy, during the first 10 months. Unfortunately, unlike Nintendo of America that announced (almost) the same thing for the United States a few days ago, Nintendo of Italy didn’t share any sales number. All we know is that the Nintendo Switch sold better than the Wii, the previous record holder.

Colopl lawsuit
Today, it was announced that Nintendo was suing Colopl (a popular mobile game company), asking $40 million in compensation . Nintendo is accusing Colopl of violating 5 of their patents with their game, Shironeko Project, including one that involves using a touch panel to manipulate a (virtual) joystick. Unfortunately, nothing is said about the other 4 patents.
Colopl was notified by Nintendo back in September 2016, and after more than a year of unfruitful negotiations, Nintendo sued Colopl on December 22nd.
