Headliner: NoviNews

Unbound Creations have announced that they are bringing Headliner: NoviNews to the Nintendo Switch this Summer, in Europe and North America. It’s an adventure game where you get to play as the chief editor of the country’s largest news publication.

Cast in the role of a “Headliner”, you operate as the chief editor of the country’s largest news publication. Acting as the voice of the publication, you must decide what stories to run, meet your quotas, keep your audience engaged, and make enough money to keep food in the dog bowl. Controversy equals clicks, and with the world in conflict, it’s up to you to cultivate the country’s culture through the court of public opinion.

Much of Headliner: NoviNews is set behind your desk, but every night ends with your custom made avatar walking home, observing how the stories you ran influenced the public. Which politicians will they support? Will a riot break out? How will you report on said riot? With geopolitical tensions at an all-time high, it’s never an easy decision being the Headliner!

Those Who Remain

Wired Productions have shared a trailer, some details, and some screenshots for Those Who Remain, an upcoming psychological horror game by Camel 101:

Some mistakes should never happen, not when your life is so complete… and yet they do. Those Who Remain sees prospective players take control of Edward on his journey through darkness into Dormont – a once sleepy town, now plagued by secrets and mysterious disappearances – as he desperately attempts to come back to the light and put his life back on track.

Those Who Remain (Switch – eShop) does not have a release date yet.

Hamster have announced that Arcade Archives XMultiply will be released on August 8th worldwide. As usual, it will cost 6.99€ / £6.29 / $7.99 / 823 Yen, and the Japanese version will offer an English language option.
