Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town – More characters introduced, details on romance

Marvelous have shared the latest set of details and pictures for Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, this time focusing on the romance aspects of the game, and introducing two more characters.

Let’s start with the character introductions:

• Ann (bachelorette): a bright and cheerful girl who works at the town’s inn, managed by her father. Housework is her forte, and she loves eating delicious meals;
• Kai (bachelor): he comes to town every summer, in order to open the Seaside Shack. Due to his cheerful tone, he’s pretty popular with women and children, but not so much with men.

Next, we get details about something that has been a key aspect of Harvest Moon / Story of Seasons games for a while: romance. Once you’ve found a bachelor / bachelorette you’re interested in, you can start courting them. Once your relationship is deep enough, you can propose to them, get married, and even have children.

Various romance events occur based on how deep your relationship is. There’s several ways to deepen it, including talking to your beloved every day, but also give them presents. Make sure to think carefully about what to give them, because if you end up gifting something they don’t like, your relationship level will decrease.

But marriage isn’t the end of the line: there’s still more events once you’re married and have had a c child. For example, there’s wedding anniversaries, birthdays, and more.
