Windjammers

Last week, DotEmu announced that Windjammers was headed to the Nintendo Switch later this year. Here’s a trailer and some details about the game:

Windjammers is the ultimate competitive disc-throwing game. Featuring five game modes (Arcade, Infinite, Local Versus, Online Quick Match & Ranked Match), Windjammers will fling Switch fans ample opportunities to jam the wind and their opponents in a variety of ways. With six radical characters to master, each with their own unique skills and super throws, competitors will have plenty of options in honing their jammin’ across six vibrant arenas.

The 1994 cult classic was initially released on the NEOGEO arcade system where it earned a loyal following spanning decades. Dotemu’s port of what’s hailed as the most important sports game of all time by many important people around the world launched last year on PlayStation 4 and Vita to positive critical reception and commercial success.

Koloro

Yesterdayt, Sköl Studio annoucned that Koloro was headed to the Nintendo Switch, courtesy of QubicGames.

Koloro is a contemplative puzzle/platform game. Its story reveals a poetic world. The graphics and atmosphere are enhanced through the use of contrasts.

Mercenaries Wings: The False Phoenix

Last week, Circle Ent. introduced two more characters for Mercenaries Wings: The False Phoenix on Nintendo Switch:

  • Francis

A priest that is cheerful with an open heart, he always motivates the group. Has the utmost respect for Jeremy as the senior mercenary, and is well known for his child-like looks.

  • Anemone

A magician who wishes to be a mercenary and join the Crimson Birds. Emotional and with an abundance of knowledge when it comes to magic, she often laughs off the attention of others…

Mercenaries Wings: The False Phoenix (Switch – eShop) comes out later this year worldwide.

Hex Gambit

Yesterday, the developers of Hex Gambit shared some details about the new Single Player challenge: the Blitz Royale.

Tackle six consecutive battles using one, persistent army. Your reinforcements are shuffled and doled out between battles. Lose a minion, and he’s gone for good! The mode include Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties.
