Dragon Quest XI to get a presentation at the Jump Festa 2017

Dragon Quest XI: Sugiarashi Toki o Motomete is the latest mainline entry in the popular and long-running Dragon Quest series. It was originally announced in July 2015, but since then, we haven’t seen the game at all. We did get a couple of interviews here and there, but nothing substantial at all.

The good news is, it looks like Square-Enix is finally ready to spill the beans about Dragon Quest XI: Sugiarashi Toki o Motomete. Not only will there be a special program on the NHK on December 29th, with exclusive coverage on the development of the game, but there will also be a stage show at the Jump Festa 2017, later this month.

What this stage show will reveal, we don’t know… yet. What’s more, Square-Enix hasn’t announced whether that stage show would be livestreamed, or when exactly it would take place. No doubt we will get some more details in the upcoming days, including some for the game itself via various magazines (Famitsu, V-Jump) beforehand, though. Unfortunately, the game will not be playable.

Here’s the rest of Square-Enix’s line-up for the Jump Festa 2017:

The Jump Festa 2017 will take place on December 17th and 18th.
