Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 Professional to feature +700 monsters, will be Joker series’ grand finale
Back in September, during the Tokyo Game Show 2016, Square-Enix announced that Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3, releasing in March, would get a “Professional” edition, logically called Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 Professional. Back then, the company explained that the game would feature:
- new story scenario(s);
- original monster(s);
- plenty of other popular monsters that didn’t make it in the original version of the game;
- save data transfer feature, allowing you to keep all the monsters caught in the original version of the game.
And last week, some leaked scans from V-Jump revealed that Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 Professional would be the “grand finale” of the Dragon Quest Monsters Joker series. That doesn’t mean the Dragon Quest Monsters series itself is coming to a close, just the “Joker” subseries.
The magazine also reveals that the game will feature over 700 monsters: that’s 200 more than in the original. There will also be new skills and abilities, new areas to explore, and more. As for the Riding System, it has been powered up: you can now even ride on giant monsters.
Here’s the scans from V-Jump:
