Dragon Ball: Project Fusion to be called Dragon Ball Fusions, more details

***Dragon Ball: Project Fusion is an RPG developed by Ganbarion, coming out later this year on Nintendo 3DS. In its latest issue, V-Jump revealed the official title for the game, which is Dragon Ball Fusions. It will feature a brand new type of fusions known as “EX Fusions”, which require a special armband. When two characters wear it, they can fuse even if they’re not compatible.

The magazine introduces several new fusions:

• Karolu (Son Goku + Broly)
• Krigohan (Krillin + Son Gohan)
• Gollin (Krillin + Young Son Goku)
• Pillin (Piccolo + Krillin)

According to V-Jump, only characters who can fuse without the use of the special armband can wear the fusion clothes fans of the Dragon Ball series know pretty well.

As for the story, we learn that the various worlds and timelines were fused because of the protagonist and his friend, Pinijii (whose dream is become the strongest warrior across the Dragon Ball timeline).  They made a wish to Shenron, asking the dragon to create the strongest Budokai (martial tournament) in the whole universe. Your goal in the game is to win that major tournament.

At the beginning of the game, you will be able to chose the race of your character (but also customise his/her appearance):

• Hyman
• Saiyan
• Alien
• Spirit world inhabitant
• Namekian
