Downtown Nekketsu Jidaigeki: screenshots and gameplay footage for the Story Mode

Downtown Nekketsu Jidaigeki is the latest entry in the Kunio-kun series, and it’s actually a sequel to Downtown Special: Kunio-kun no Jidaigeki da yo Zenin Shugo (on the NES). It’s coming out in exactly one month in Japan (on May 28th), on the Nintendo 3DS.

The game will have various modes, including a Story Mode. And it’s on that very Story Mode that the brand new batch of screenshots, revealed today, is focusing on. But before those, there’s a gameplay video to discover, courtesy of Famitsu. Of course, this video focuses on… the Story Mode of Downtwon Nekketsu Jidaigeiki!
