We join The Boss, Shaundi and Gat as they perform a heist on the Stilwater 1st National Bank. The gang are joined by aspiring method actor and star of the Third Street Saints movie Josh Birk. What could possibly go wrong?

Overpass

Bigben Interactive have announced another game for the Nintendo Switch: Overpass, an off-road simulation developed by Zordix (known for their jetski and snowmobile racing games). It will be released in October in Europe and North America.

Here’s the debut trailer and some details:

In Overpass™, the player takes control of powerful buggies and quads, scrabbling across extreme tracks and very hazardous terrain. This simulation, unique in its genre, pits the player against craggy slopes and puts their cool-headedness to the test throughout technical obstacle courses along wilderness tracks.

Overpass™’s realistic physics engine requires you to keep precise and meticulous control of your speed and acceleration or you risk losing your grip and failing your crossing. You’ll need to master the technical characteristics of official reproductions of buggies and quads from iconic brands such as Yamaha, Suzuki and Arctic Cat. Differential locking, 2 or 4 drive wheels, transmission type: the player has been given all the tools they need to discover the real vehicle options that will let them adapt their driving to the terrain.

The Career mode lets you manage your buggies and quads and choose the one best adapted to each track and terrain type in order to win the competition and attract sponsors. In multi-player mode, you’ll need to know and master the slightest detail of each track in order to post the best times and show that you are truly the master of off-roading!

Overpass (Switch) comes out this October in Europe and North America. The Upcoming Games page has been updated!

MudRunner

Good news for MudRunner: some more content is available for the game… and it’s completely free! Introducing the Old-timers DLC, which includes the following: new map, new vehicles, and brand new add-ons.

Here’s details about the new content, along with some screenshots:

Included is the Chevrolet NAPCO 3100, a 1957 model by General Motors with minor modern updates to make it able to handle MudRunner’s treacherous fields. Compatible with a number of existing add-ons, it also brings two new ones: a scout trailer and a loaded log cart, the latter of which is exclusive to the new Rocky Hills map. Also in this update is the GMC DW950, a short-hooded truck from the ‘50s designed for logging expeditions. It works with a number of add-ons from the base game and American Wilds expansion. Though both of these trucks originate from the US and are officially licensed, the Old-timers DLC will not require the American Wilds expansion to install.

The US-based Rocky Hills is more challenging than a normal map, giving MudRunner veterans a new height to aim for in a new style of gameplay – this map has no garage and an off-road climbing puzzle is the main feature.
