Xenoblade Chronicles X

If there’s one aspect of Xenoblade Chronicles that players enjoyed, it’s the Skells: those mechas are not only extremely powerful, they are also a great way to explore Planet Mira (especially once you get the Flying Module). If you really want a plastic model to put on your shelf, Kotobukiya has just the thing for you!

Today, pre-orders for the Formula Plastic Model (1/48) were launched on various websites (including AmiAmi and Amazon.co.jp). It costs 8 424 Yen (5 720 Yen on AmiAmi), and will be released in July.

Here’s some details and pictures:

  • Scale: 1/48
  • Size: Approx. H175mm
  • Material: PS, PE, ABS
  • Parts: 201 – 400

The Skell was designed Takayuki Yanase, and the model comes with decals, sword, machinegun, grenade, beamsabe and shield.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening

Last week, Game Informer published an interview with Takashi Tezuka, about one of the strangest entry in the Zelda series: Link’s Awakening. He reveals that the game originally started as a pet project, unsanctionned by his superiors at the time. And, surprisingly enough, he reveals that Twin Peak actually had an influence on the development of the game.
