Dai Gyakuten Saiban demo to be released tomorrow in Japan

During Capcom’s “Mall Tour”, last month, Shintaro Kojima (Producer) announced that a demo version for Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken would be released soon on the Japanese Nintendo eShop. That way, even players who couldn’t go to any of the events where the game was playable will be able to try it before launch.

And today, during a web radio program, Shintaro Kojima announced that this demo version would be available on the Japanese Nintendo eShop… tomorrow! As announced previously, this trial version will be based on the Monster Hunter Festa demo.

It features one of the major new elements of Dai Gyakuten Saiban – Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken: the joint-reasoning system, where Naruhodou Ryuunosuke and Sherlock Holmes work together in order to find the truth. It will allow up to 30 uses, and requires 48.9MB of free space on the SD Card.

This week, Famitsu magazine will also feature an article about Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke, where three new characters are revealed:

– Heart/Hurt/Hart Vortex (a white-haired man, Chief Justice)
– Cosney Megendal (a gentleman with a top hat)
– Gina Lestrade (blonde-haired girl teased in the previous Famitsu article about the game, most likely inspired by Inspector Lestrade from the Sherlock Holmes stories).

There will also be details about Episode 3, which is called The Adventure of the Speeding Locked Room (with a murder taking place on a carriage, which has already be seen several times in trailers and livestreams).

Finally, a bit of Ace Attorney new: the artbook for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies comes out on July 7th in North America!
