Dai Gyakuten Saiban 2: latest details and screens (Episode 3), boxart, DLC costumes, more

This week, Capcom shared even more details about Dai Gyakuten Saiban 2: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Kakugo, this time focusing on Episode 3. This one takes place during the World Fair, in London.

Benjamin Dovinbow is a German scientist who has come to London in order to showcase his latest invention at the World Fair: a special cage that can teleport itself (and whatever is inside) to the Crystal Tower. Unfortunately for him, a massive explosion cuts his demonstration short, and the man who was taking part in it is killed on the spot.

Why there was an explosion in the first place is actually the least interesting bit here, because both the victim and the cage ended up at the Crystal Tower, as intended! Chief Justice Vortex then assigns Naruhodou Ryuunosuke to the case, and so he heads on the crime scene (along with Iris Watson) in order to investigate and find out what happened.

That’s where the pair ends up meeting Gina (a returning character, who is now Inspector), accompanying Inspector Gregson. She’s once again accompanied by Toby, who is a dog, but also… an Inspector. One of the witnesses is a young boy called Gotts, who was visiting the World Fair at the time, and saw everything from a ballooon.

Gameplay-wise, Capcom conrirms that the Questioning system (with multiple witnesses on the stand, like in Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney) is back in Dai Gaykuten Saiban 2: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Kakugo. It already was in the first entry.

Finally, we finally have a picture for the DLC costumes announced a while back: check it out below!
