Cube Creator DX: more details and screenshots

Today, Arc Systems Works sent a press release to share more details about Cube Creator DX for the Nintendo 3DS, the expanded version of Nintendo eShop title.

First, there’s the returning Create mode, that allows you to create various things: building, characters, and more. This time around, there’s even more cubes to play with, which means you can create even more things than in the original game. But Cube Creator DX also introduces a new mode called Stage Builder mode, that lets you create your very own stages using various gimmick blocks.

Survival Mode is exactly what you’d expect from a mode with such a name: you have to survive in a hostile world. You play as your avatar, who can befriend various monsters and animals this time around. You can play in co-op with friends, but also against them, which is why you can build you very own base to defend yourself.

One of the biggest new features of Cube Creator DX is online multiplayer. You and your friends can go on an adventure together, or team up to create various things. The best thing? You don’t even have to stick to your friends: you can play online even with complete strangers, if you want to. But that’s not all: you can upload your creations for other players to check out, or you can check out theirs.
