Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics: Pocket Edition announced, additional details and screenshots

Nintendo have announced that Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics is to get a free version on June 5th worldwide, called Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics Pocket Edition. It serves as a demo, allowing you play the following games for free (including in local multiplayer):

  • Dominoes
  • Connect Four
  • President
  • Slot Cars

But that’s not all! This Pocket Edition also allows you to:

  • play VS games that require a Nintendo Switch console per player with just one full version of the game (pretty much like Download Play on Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS). This concerns games like Hanafuda where you need to hide your cards from other players;
  • connect the Nintendo Switch screens for games such as Slot Cars.

Also, Nintendo have shared some additional details about the full version of the game. Here’s some handy features included:

  • Introductions and Rules: each game featrures an introduction video, explaining how to play, sharing various tips, and more. Games with complex rules such as Shogi and Mahjong also offer tutorial, guiding new players step by step;
  • 4 difficulty levels for the CPU;
  • Trivia about the various games included in the collection;
  • Players recommendations: if you don’t know which games to play, you can check out recommendations by players from all around the world;
  • Mario and friends designs for certain games (like Hanafuda).
