Blast Ball (3DS) premiered during the Nintendo World Championships 2015

It looks like Nintendo has several surprises up its sleeve for the Nintendo World Championships. Before it began, Shigesato Itoi made a big announcement for fans of the Earthbound series, and announced that Earthbound Beginnings would come out today on the Wii U Virtual Console.

And just a few minutes ago, a brand new Nintendo 3DS premiered during the Nintendo World Championships 2014: Blast Ball. This is a sci-fi football-like game, in which you use mechs in order to shoot a ball and score some goals. It’s a brand new IP, but we don’t know who’s developing it.

The game is currently being showcased during the Nintendo World Championships 2015 livestream. No doubt we’ll be getting more details real soon.

Blast Ball will come out on Nintendo 3DS.
