A few weeks ago, Koei-Tecmo announced Attack on Titan: Shichi Kara no Dasshutsu, an Adventure game based on the popular Attack on Titan series. And after a teaser trailer a few days ago, a proper trailer for the game was finally uploaded today.

Here it is:

Update: here’s the Mikasa version of the trailer:

As mentioned previously, the game features an original story, separate from the manga / anime series (though the characters are the same, with the exception of the protagonist). There’s various events involving the many characters, with backgrounds/characters drawn by WIT Studio (the ones behind the anime series). Koji Seko (script writer who worked on the anime series) is supervising the story.

The game has you exploring an old castle, in order to find a way out and escape… while avoiding the titans who are roaming all around the place. There are plenty of special events with the characters, with some pretty tense situations (titan suddenly appearing, etc.), but also “calmer” ones.

Another aspect of Attack on Titan: Shichi Kara no Dasshutsu is the “Bond” feature: by talking to the various characters, you can increase the bond they share with the protagonist, allowing you to learn more about them (click here for more details).

Here’s the list of characters that will appear in the game (voiced by tghe same voice actors as the anime series):

  • Eren Yeager (voiced by Yuuji Kaji)
  • Mikasa Ackerman (voiced by Yui Ishikawa)
  • Levi (voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya)
  • Armin Arlert (voiced by Marina Inoue)
  • Jean Kirstein (voiced by Kishou Taniyama)
  • Connie Springer (voiced by Hiro Shimono)
  • Sasha Blouse (voiced by Yuu Kobayashi)
  • Reiner Braun (voiced by Yoshimasa Hosoya)
  • Zoë Hange (voiced by Romi Park)
  • Erwin Smith (voiced by Daisuke Ono)
  • Bertolt Hoover (voiced by Tomohisa Hashizume)
  • Krista Lenz (voiced by Shiori Mikami)
  • Ymir (voiced by Saki Fujita)

Finally, here’s some additional screens and some artworks for the game:
